The Secretary of State is the senior elections official. The website for that agency contains answers to questions about voting in Texas. Management of the polling places is organized at the county level. Many questions about voting locally can be answered by visiting Dallas County Elections. This report explains the hybrid primary/precinct convention system used in Texas.

Justice of the Peace Precincts To find out precisely which JP precinct you live in, you must call one of the courts and ask them to look up your address.
