Institutional HistoryThe Book Mark Review Club was organized in the spring of 1945 in the home of Mrs. F.H. Peters, with Mrs. A.G. Chancey serving as the club's only reviewer until 1949. Over the years, the club expanded its role in the lives of its members by organizing parties to celebrate special occassions and holidays. The scrapbooks document the social lives of Dallas women in the second half of the twentieth century.
