Scope and Contents
The collection contains tapes of oral history interviews of Oak Cliff residents conducted by students at Mountain View Community College in 1982-1983. Some of the tapes were transcribed in 1986 as research material for the Oak Cliff Conservation League's book on the history of Oak Cliff (The Hidden City: Oak Cliff, Texas). The tapes were numbered, and both the tapes and transcripts are arranged in the original numerical order.
