Holiday Schedule for 2007-2008

Dallas Public Library will observe the following holiday schedule in Fiscal Year 2007–08:

• Thanksgiving
  All libraries will be closed Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23, 2007, official City of Dallas holidays. All libraries will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 2 1. All libraries will be open regular hours Saturday, November 24. All permanent branch staff will receive holiday pay for a regularly closed day and will need to schedule another day off in accordance with City of Dallas personnel rules for rescheduled holidays.
   
• Christmas
  All libraries will close on Monday, December 24 at 5 p.m. (not an official City of Dallas holiday) and be closed on Tuesday, December 25 (official City of Dallas holiday). Regular hours resume on Wednesday, December 26.
   
• New Year's  
  All libraries will close on Monday, December 31 at 5 p.m. (not an official City of Dallas holiday) and be closed on Tuesday, January 1,2008 (official City of Dallas holiday). Regular hours resume on Wednesday, January 2,2008.

The Library will also be closed on the following dates:

  Monday, February 18, 2008
   
• Easter Sunday (not an official City of Dallas holiday)
  Sunday, March 23, 2008
   
• Memorial Day
  Monday, May 26, 2008

  Wednesday, July 4, 2008
   
• Labor Day/Cesar Chavez Day
  Monday, September 1, 2008
