To better serve you the Dallas
Public Library will be implementing a new library online
catalog in the next few weeks. Some of the new features
you will be able to enjoy are:

24/7 access to the library
catalog and your account information.
-
Able to read book reviews, book
chapters, and view cover art on materials the
library owns.
-
Enhanced “my library account
features” for example, ability to suspend
requests when you are on vacation, save searches and
receive updates when new materials arrive, ability
to submit address and contact information updates.
As we move forward with the new
system here are a few things you need to know:

Starting May 20, you will need
to place requests through your local library.
Please contact them by
phone or email, requests will begin to fill after
May 29.

From May 22 through May 28, the
Dallas Public Library will have limited access to
your account information, we will be able to check
out materials and issue new library cards.
Regrettably, during that time, we will not be able
to provide you the titles you have checked out, their
due dates or if you owe any fees. After May
29, we will again be able to provide this
information to you.

During this time no library
materials are due, so you will not have any overdue
items.
Thanks for your patience as we implement our new
computer system to better serve you.
